What is counselling?
Counselling is a confidential process and this means that we offer a safe and secure space for you to explore what you are experiencing.
Counselling is not about telling you what is right or wrong but about supporting you to make sense of what you are going through. and find a way forward.
Counselling can help you find solutions to your difficulties, find a language for your feelings and gain a deeper understanding of what you are experiencing.
What to expect
Once you decide to embark on counselling you will meet with a trained counsellor to go through an initial assessment which will allow us to explore what brought you to counselling and how it is impacting your life.
I understand that it can be a daunting experience coming for counselling, reaching our for support takes courage so I want to provide an environment for you which is respectful and allows you to feel listened to and understood.
